I am currently on a 6 week placement at a primary school as part of my university course at the moment and I must say the world of full time work has hit me like a ton of bricks with all these early mornings!! Hence the need for a lovely topshop splurge after a day at work, an instant pick me up and a necessity as far as the working wardrobe is concerned. My wardrobe is vastly consisting of pencil skirts at the moment and if I am honest they just do not feel like my sort of thing (plus the fact they show every lump and bump) , so I thought I would gain a bit of normality within my working wardrobe and introduce a pair of gorgeous monochrome trousers. These trousers are gorgeous, and I love the fact the black detailing is made very luxury in velvet detail. To go with these I have added a cute black blouse with a gold spiked necklace as lets be honest we need that all important statement necklace for some added bling! I also brought these gold studded shoes to add a touch more glamour to my look.
