Valentines gift guide // For her

vvv1

As Valentines day is swiftly approaching I thought it was only appropriate that I assembled a quick gift guide so that you ladies can point your men in the right direction or better still if you're a guy and you are reading this TAKE NOTE. I for one am all for valentines day - it's such a cute soppy occasion for us couples - but don't get me wrong I also believe that little gifts, showing your love and spending quality time with your loved one should be a regular occurrence in your relationship and not just once a year! Remember boys, it's the thought that counts (it doesn't even have to be expensive!). And before you even think about it - popping into ASDA on the way home from work and buying the last bunch of dead flowers and a cheap box of chocolates has certainly not had much thought into it. Be original, be thoughtful :)

YSL Black Opium // Boots
I know perfume isn't the most spontaneous gift idea ever but there is no denying that it is definitely something us girls can never get enough off. This most recent scent to the YSL family is to die for...

Red love heart balloons //  Clintons
Balloons and lots of them because yes I am still 5 years old and just love balloons, sorry.... not sorry ....

Louis Vuitton speedy 35 bag // Harrods
Every girls ultimate dream handbag (other than a Celine!) - if you want some serious brownie points you can't go wrong with this timeless handbag.

Scrapbook // Paperchase
As I said it's the thought that counts, not how much you have spent - get creative and make a scrapbook filled with pictures, memories and notes. It means much more than anything materialistic.

Olivia Burton watch // Asos
Move over Michael Kors, there's a new watch craze in town. I have been eyeing up an Olivia Burton for quite some time now - I love the simplicity and big watch heads on them. Classy, smart and sophisticated.

A dress // Celeb boutique
Now this may be a risky one for you guys but certainly one that could pay off if you get it right... Buy your girl a dress - make sure she has the heels and bag to match (don't forget this, crucial part!) - then  leave it on her bed attached with a note stating what time she need's to be ready. Arrange transport then whisk her off for a slap up candle-lit dinner!

Sunglasses // Netaporter
This may well be turning into "Laura's wish list" but a good pair of sunny's and a girl is ready to conquer the world...

MAC // Make-up lesson
Shock I have featured MAC but if your other half is a make-up lover why not treat her to a MAC make-up lesson? Not only do you pay £50 for an hour and a half lesson but you also get the £50 back to redeem on products. If like me £50 is such a casual spend in MAC you may as well book one of these so that you get learn some new tips and tricks whilst buying your make-up essentials!

Romantic getaway // Spa
I love a good pamper and relax session and there's no better way than spending it rewinding in a spa with your loved one whilst having lots of treatments. Have a look on Groupon or Travel Zoo - they have some fantastic deals and there is also really good city break deals on there too!

Underwear // Agent provocateur
Being brought underwear is such a treat when it comes from your other half as a) it shows they actually know your sizing and b) they have chose it themselves (thought points!).

Anybody got any exciting plans for Valentines day?
