Hey everyone! Sorry for the lack of posts lately, it's my final year of uni so I am crazy busy doing my dissertation and all the other assignments that come with it * so apologies*. Today I thought I would enlighten you with a little lip combo that I have really enjoyed using lately. The winter season always seem to bring out my cracked dry lips and as I am constantly wearing lippy it is SO important that my lips are exfoliated, soft and silky smooth before application. There's nothing worse than applying your lipstick to cracked flaky lips (not a good look)!

Step 1 - Santa's lip scrub || £5.50 || Lush || Link here!
The first product I use to get my lips looking kissable is Lush's Santa's lip scrub which is described as ' A gentle exfoliator to prime and refine your lips and leave them tasting divine'. The scrub itself is essentially a red caster sugar sprinkled with love hearts on top and contains a lovely fizzy cola bottle scent. I couldn't help but lick my lips after applying this product (it is edible!) and wow they tasted so good! Application wise, I use a clean finger to apply this product all over my lips. The sugar helps buffs away dry and dead skin and after rinsing off with water my lips feel silky soft and even.

                                Step 2 - Raspberry Rose lip butter || £2.50 || Nivea || Link here!
After exfoliating with the lip scrub, I then like to apply a layer of lip butter. This lip butter by Nivea is an absolute handbag essential in the winter months! The lip butter itself contains shea butter and almond oil which gives the product a gorgeous creamy consistency, making your lips instantly feeling super soft and unlike other lip butters is not sticky in the slightest. The smell is delicious and not too over-powering, giving a gorgeous scent of raspberry and rose. The packaging is also a plus point, coming in a handy tin perfect to carry on the go!

This lip combo has been my absolute saviour this winter and before my lipstick application!
What are your wholly grail lip products for dry lips?
