#QUEENBB Beauty bay event

\

Last month I was kindly invited to a Beauty Bay event in Manchester *yes pinch me* ... Incase you haven't heard of Beauty Bay  (you def should have!) - they have been one of my favourite online beauty stores for quite sometime now - they stock SO many of my fav brands (ABH, Lilly Lashes, Morphe, MUG, LA Girl - to name a few!) ... so to be invited to an exclusive event for some cocktails and canapés to celebrate the launch of their new campaign / tv advert #QUEENBB seemed somewhat unreal. Oh, and not to mention I got an amazing goody bag rammed full of beauty goodies and got to have my make-up done by a PLT make-up artist!!

OK so lets get onto the all important goody bag first because lets be honest you are all just as nosey as I am and are dying to see what freebies I got *hehe*....

Yesss... make-up heaven right?! OK so not all of this stuff was from the night... some was kindly gifted after the event as I have actually teamed up with Beauty Bay on an exciting Youtube video as part of their campaign! But more of that shortly...

So the goody bag - Receiving make-up for free is definitely one of those blogger perks and when I casted my eyes on this lot of goodies I honestly just wanted to test it all on my face right there! Some key products that need a mention and that i've not stopped using since are...

Doll Beauty Highlighter // Like a Diamond - Possibly the best highlighter thats ever landed on my face? Think super pigmented, applies like a dream and literally makes your cheek bones shine like a diamond. Also not to mention this is the PLT make-up artists GO-TO - and they use this on all the model babes so if its good enough for them (its def good enough for me!) ...

Cover FX Blurring Primer - Never been one for a primer admittedly - Nieva men post after shave balm has been my little pot of gold for the last year but since I stumbled across this I have to admit I adore it and it has definitely become a go-to in my make-up bag now. I don't use this all over my face though - just my nose and chin area - it literally blurs out all of your pores!

Ok so now I've gave you a little peek and lowdown on my amazing goodies lets talk more about the campaign! So unless you've been hiding under a rock you must have seen Beauty Bays exciting new tv advert which is all part of this fabulous new campaign *QUEENBB. The campaign itself is all about coming out of your comfort zone, being experimental with make-up looks and just unleashing that inner queen! Personally I think the campaign has great meaning and spreads lots of positive vibes which I am all about. As part of the campaign Beauty Bay also asked me to create a look from the TV advert and do a tutorial on my Youtube. I picked the Drew look which admittedly was SUCH a different look for me and so far away from my usual warm eye // nude lip. Here's a picture below of the final look:

As I said this is SO SO far away from any make-up look that I would normally rock but I have to admit it was actually so much fun to leave my comfort zone and do something completely different. I actually surprised myself with how much I liked the purple eyeshadows!

For the full tutorial you can watch my Youtube video here:

Hope you all enjoyed this post and be sure to check out beautybay if you haven't already girls! x
